Avocados

Lets talk avocado, and what are they good for?  Gluten free, avocados are very high in vitamins and minerals,
including fiber, vitamins K, B, C, folate and potassium.  One avocado has almost twice the potassium of
a banana.  Potassium helps balance your potassium to sodium ratio.

Naturally gluten, sodium and cholesterol free, avocados spreads, toppings and dips are a creamy and nutritious
alternative to saturated fat laden recipes.

It is considered a fat, but a good fat, monounsaturated.  A medium avocado contains about 22 grams of fat.

Eating an avocado helps maintain cholesterol levels already in the healthy range and lower your risk for
heart disease.

When eaten in conjunction with other foods, the avocado enables your body to absorb more efficiently fat
soluble nutrients, such as alpha-and beta-carotene and lutein.

There is so much you can do with an avocado, grill them, cut them into a salad, or just use them in place of
mayo in many popular recipes.  With many health benefits, try one today.
