Gluten Free Christmas Sugar Cookies




With Christmas and the holidays here, you can always find
time to enjoy a yummy sugar cookie.  Gluten free for everyone
to enjoy!

Ingredients
1 cup sugar  1 cup butter, softened
2 tsp. vanilla  1 egg
2 1/2 cups gluten free all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions
1. In a large bowl beat sugar and butter until creamy
Then beat in vanilla and egg.
Stir in flour, baking powder and salt
Divide dough in 2 shape into a circle, wrap and refrigerate
for about 1 hour.

2. Heat over to 375
Roll dough on a surface sprinkled with gluten free flour
Roll to about 1/4 inch thickness
Use cutters to cut out and put sprinkles of your choice on

3. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet
Bake 8-12 minutes
Let stand on cookie sheet for 2 minutes, transfer to rack

Cool and enjoy!!!!
