As a Registered Dietitian and a mom of a son with Celiac, I want to educate on a healthy gluten free diet.

Can People With Celiac Disease Benefit From Exercise?
If you know me, the answer would be yes to exercise.
Exercise seems to help most people, however how does
it come into play with Celiac disease?
When we think of controlling Celiac disease we usually
think of food, staying away from gluten. However we
know that people with Celiac often have dysbiosis in their
gut microbiome and new research is showing that exercise
can help promote a healthy balance of the gut microbiome.
It has been shown, that interval training improves the
gut microbiome better than low impact. It is just a
suggestion, trying to help people living with the
disease. Exercise is a benefit to most regardless
of having Celiac or not.
