Gluten Free Nutrition Day 2 Of 3


Folate is also lacking in a gluten free diet.
Folate is necessary for the production and
maintenance of new cells.  This is important
during periods of rapid cell division and
growth, such as pregnancy.  Here is a list
of sources of folate.

Banana
Beef liver
Chick pea, enriched corn flour
Enriched long grain rice
Hazelnuts
Millet
Beans
Peanuts
Sesame Seeds
Sunflower Seeds
