Day 1 Of 5 Gluten Free Flours


Once you find out you need to go gluten free, the
first thing people think is no pizza no flour.  Most
people today use white flour, which is not very
healthy. Good news, there are many good gluten
free flours available.  I will list a few and go over
when to use them.

1.  Coconut Flour-  Coconut flour is a great replacement
for white or wheat flour.  It is high in fiber and healthy
fats.  It is low on the glycemic index, which means it
will not spike your blood sugar. 
      Coconut flour also helps with healthy digestion, has
a high nutrient content and can aid in heart health.  It
taste great in recipes like cookies, cakes, muffins and
pancakes.

2.  Oat Flour-  When buying oat flour, make sure it is
labeled gluten free.  This flour tastes great in cookies,
or any recipe calling for white flour.  Oat flour is high
in fiber and can help lower your cholesterol.
