Day 4 Of 5 Gluten Free Flours
7. Sorghum Flour- This is a heavy flour, works best
in recipes that require a small amount of flour or when
used mixed with another lighter flour. This flour
provides high quantities of fiber and antioxidants.
Sorghum also helps with blood sugar and any
inflammation. Sorghum flour contains tannins that
are though to help with weight loss.
8. Cassava Flour- This flour is made by grating and
drying the cassava root. One cup provides 71% of
your daily vitamin C, which promotes healthy skin,
fights free radial damage and improves the health
of gums and teeth. Although low in nutrients, it
allows you to enjoy baked goods low in calories,
fat and sugar, with a low cost.
