As a Registered Dietitian and a mom of a son with Celiac, I want to educate on a healthy gluten free diet.

Some Tips To Eating Gluten Free For Less Day 1 Of 2
One of the big issues to eating gluten free is money. It does cost
more to eat gluten free. That 2$ loaf of bread just turned into a
6$ frozen loaf, that could only be found at certain stores. Yes
there are many things naturally gluten free and affordable, but
the special gluten free ones are more money.
1. Look for reduced price bread. When sold fresh, prices are
reduced at night. Buy and freeze when you can. I will say
bread freezes well.
2. Look at the cheaper super markets for gluten free items.
They may have a smaller gluten free section, however the
prices are better. Always check the fliers for sales.
3. Plan your meals at the beginning of the week. This will
help you save time and money. Many foods are already
naturally gluten free and affordable. If you plan well you
will only need one trip to the supermarket.
