Are Gluten Free Diets Gluten Free?
For many people eating gluten free might
be more than a fad, it is imperative for those
who have Celiac disease. A new study showed
that maintaining a gluten free diet is more
difficult than anticipated. According to the
research, people following a gluten free
diet are frequently exposed to low levels of
gluten, leading to symptoms and intestinal

Gluten and Beauty Products
There is a connection between beauty and diet.
So for many, their food allergy is under control,
but creeps into their skin care. There are many
gluten free creams, lipsticks and makeup, but
there are quite a few with gluten.
Gluten is a combination of proteins found in
wheat, rye, and barley. It helps food keep its
shape. In beauty products gluten is used
because of its moisturizing benefits. Gluten
can be found in shampoos, conditioners, soaps,
creams, and chap sticks.

Average Gluten Amounts
Amounts of gluten in a regular diet can
vary, 7500mg on average for women,
10,000 mg on average for men per day.
For those with Celiac the recommended
limit for safe consumption of gluten is
a mere 10 mg per day. Any more than that
will trigger an autoimmune response that
damages the small intestines.

Autoimmune Diseases
Autoimmune disease disorders are common in
women. This is because their immune system
is more refined than men's.
An autoimmune disorder is a disease in which the
body's immune system attacks healthy cells. If
you have an autoimmune disease, your immune
system attacks the healthy cells by mistake.

Day 1 Of 2 What Happens To Your Body When You Cut Out Gluten
For most people, gluten isn't terrible, or a problem.
But if you are sensitive or have Celiac, cutting it
out of your diet is a necessity. Like with any other
change you make, there may be side effects of
going gluten free.
Here are a few things you should know.
1. You might experience constipation. Going gluten
free, means less whole grain foods. Whole grain foods
are a great source of fiber, and gluten. So cutting them
out can lead to constipation in many. To help this,
add green leafy vegetables, beans, fruit and drink lots
of water. Also try and always buy gluten free
products that say they are whole grain.
