Iron Deficiency

Iron deficiency anemia is a result of a lack of
iron in the body.  This causes a complication of
hemogloblin, resulting in the body being unable
to obtain enough oxygen.

The symptoms of anemia can be lethargy, pica,
and hair loss.  Most people however just feel tired.
Iron deficiency can be treated by replacing the
iron through oral, or IV.  The cause of anemia
can be from blood loss, or a underlying disease,
such as Celiac.
Iron deficiency isn't just related to diet or nutritional
changes.  If you think that you have any symptoms
or just are concerned, seek medical advice.  It is
a simple blood test.
