Oats
Studies have shown that 97% of people with Celiac disease can tolerate gluten free oats. Before introducing oats there should be no GI complaints and Celiac disease should be well controlled on a gluten free diet. Celiac antibodies should be normal before introducing oats and repeated every 3 months later to make sure they stay normal. Some oats are pure and uncontaminated. Other oats are mechanically sorted to be gluten free.
