potato chips may contain gluten. Always read the ingredients and
label.
13. Pre- seasoned Meat- Many of those yummy rubs, marinades and
sauces often contain flour or other wheat based ingredients.
14. Restaurant Eggs- Eggs may not by the best gluten free option.
Many times they are mixed with pancake batter to make them
fluffier. There is also a high risk for cross contamination.
15. Pickles- While many commercial pickles are certified
gluten free, some are made with malt vinegar, which contains
barley.
So there you have it, some food you may not have ever thought
contained gluten. Always ask, read and check labels when you
can.
